For years Roe V Wade was a legal decision regarding abortion…little more than names in a headline I didn’t fully understand. (in 1973 I was 16…and politically uninvolved)
Then one day a woman introduced herself to the world as Jane Roe. Norma McCorvey stepped out of obscurity into the glare of visibility.
We didn’t know what to do with her…but she gave a face to Roe V Wade. The humanity behind the issue tilted abortion on its axis.
Her own world tipped and then somersaulted when a little girl with faith, wisdom, and love touched Norma McCorvey for eternity.
Norma is the woman called Roe and then later the self-proclaimed Roe No More.
Today she is the Director of Crossing Over Ministry, Inc and is committed to telling the truth about abortion.
Her book, Won by Love, chronicles the truth of Roe V Wade, exposes the brutalities of the abortion industry, and offers grace, hope, and love to women who believed the pro-choice lies.
Norma has dedicated her life to her faith and to undoing the damage done by two ambitious lawyers and some misguided Supreme Court Justices.
The woman misrepresented in Roe V Wade will be remembered for far more than her name as the plaintiff. Whether she wins her battle to overturn Roe V Wade or not her place in history and the heart of the pro-life movement will stand the test of time.
Miss Norma was won by love…by the God who is love…who said, in 1 Corinthians 13…love never fails and the greatest of these is love.
Norma McCorvey loves God…babies…and post-abortive women.
Who is Norma McCorvey? She’s a champion.
She was…
- Conned…
- Converted…
She Is…
- Committed…
- Compassionate…
